Acupuncture, Cupping and Cosmetic Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where small, very fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body.

With Cupping, heated glass or silicone cups are placed onto various parts of the body (most commonly the back) to create a suction cup effect that improves blood flow to the area.

Dr. Bouros has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University Ion Ionescu de la Brad/Romania and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Work from University of Bucharest/ Romania (2005). After moving to Canada in 2008 and after searching for a career that would combine her love of science, wellness, and nature, she went on to complete her doctorate of naturopathic medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.

Caroline Gorski is a Registered Kinesiologist, and a Certified Personal Trainer/human movement specialist. Caroline completed her diploma in Sports Science, and then went on to complete her Kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley. Caroline’s passion for fitness started at very young age and has since grown with the education and experience that years of immersing yourself in the field can do.

Caroline’s main focus is on rehabilitation and supporting her clients who have sustained injuries through sports or motor vehicle accidents. She uses a whole body approach to fitness which highlights the importance of prevention and correcting muscular imbalances while improving functional movement patterns. Caroline is also passionate about working with clients who have had significant health impacts such as mobility issues following a stroke and those managing long-COVID symptoms.

On a personal note, Caroline is passionate about continuing education and spends much of her free time reading through the newest research in her field. She is also completing the requirements to be a Certified Sports Nutrition Advisor, and plans to expand her certifications in nutrition in the near future. Todd Hsueh is a licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner. After receiving his certificate as an R.TCM.P in 2008, Todd traveled to broaden his vision and refine his skills by studying from other renowned professionals across Asia.

Todd’s approach is effective as he focuses on healing the patient from the root. He has worked with many health issues but has seen a profound impact on patients with emotional imbalances, sleeping problems, allergies, as well as pain management. He is also experienced in treating diabetes and hypertension by implementing a Traditional Chinese point of view. Todd also uses the Taoist lineage of ancient teaching in his practice, which explores the very essence of our Qi, by applying principles of unity found in nature and tying them into the environment in which we live.

Kirsten Janz is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N), who is also Board Certified in Practical Holistic Nutrition. She is a Raw Foods Chef and holds certificates in both Sports Nutrition and Immunology.

Her nutritional practice began 13 years ago as a parallel to her career in health care. However, her interest in alternative health developed at a very young age after experiencing her own unique health struggles. During this time, she discovered alternative medicine and a whole foods diet, which brought her a great appreciation and understanding for holistic based health care. Dr. Kevin Murphy grew up in Coquitlam, B.C. and has recently returned to the area with his young family. Dr. Kevin received a Bachelor’s of Science from Simon Fraser University before attending the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto for his Chiropractic degree. Dr. Murphy always knew the focus of his career would be on helping others improve their overall health and quality of life. He chose chiropractic because it is a drug-free non-invasive approach to improving function and uses the body’s natural potential to enhance wellbeing. Matilda Nilsson is a Registered Reflexology Therapist through Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) and has practiced reflexology since 2010. She teaches classes and workshops on reflexology and foot fitness, and is a RAC examiner for new practitioners.

Matilda has also completed her certification in Lymphatic Drainage in 2021 through the Mark Perren-Jones Academy, and is continuously learning more about the lymphatic system to further assist her clients on their healing journey. She has also completed three levels of Craniosacral Therapy with Heather Gittens at Bodhi Tree Teaching Centre, and is currently immersing herself in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy through Lyons Institute.
